This year we are celebrating a special milestone: Kentron Microbiology BV is celebrating its 25th anniversary!
For a quarter of a century, we have been dedicated to microbiology with great enthusiasm and expertise. What began 25 years ago with the ambition to provide microbiology laboratories with reliable and practical solutions has grown into a company serving customers in the Netherlands, Europe and other parts of the world.
A great deal has changed over those 25 years. Microbiological research has become faster, more accurate and more advanced. New techniques have emerged, and the demands for quality, reproducibility and efficiency have become ever higher. One thing, however, has always remained the same for us: we seek solutions that make work in the microbiology laboratory better, simpler and more reliable.
Innovation through strong partnerships
We do not do this alone. For many years, we have been working with innovative international partners such as Sheldon Manufacturing, Lab Armor, Charm Sciences and Cerillo. Together, we bring specialized equipment, technologies and new applications to microbiological laboratories.
In doing so, we consciously choose products in which we ourselves believe: innovations that genuinely add value to the day-to-day work of researchers and analysts.
But Kentron is more than just a distributor.
Our own solutions for anaerobic microbiology
An important part of our history is our in-house development and production of solutions for anaerobic and microaerophilic microbiology.
With our BioMax anaerobic gas dosing system and our own Kentron anaerobic jars, we offer laboratories a reliable environment for the optimal cultivation of microaerophilic and anaerobic microorganisms.
We develop and manufacture these products based on years of practical experience and knowledge of microbiology. It is precisely this combination of in-house production, specialist knowledge and international innovation that makes Kentron Microbiology special.
From hospitals to biotech
Our solutions are now finding their way into a wide range of laboratories. We supply hospitals and medical microbiology laboratories, the food industry, R&D and research laboratories, and biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
Behind all these laboratories are people: analysts, researchers, microbiologists and other professionals with whom we have often been working for many years.
And that is precisely why we do not want to celebrate our 25th anniversary alone.
We want to celebrate it together with our customers.
Because without the trust, the ideas, the critical questions and the long-standing collaboration with our customers and partners, the past 25 years would not have been possible.
25 years is a year to celebrate!
That’s why we’re making our anniversary year something special. Throughout the year, we’ll be organizing various fun activities, special anniversary offers and prize draws.
